Manali is a hill station in Himachal Pradesh, northern India. It’s nestled in the Himalayas amidst a paragon of beauty. On the Mall Rd., in the heart of the marketplace, is Chopsticks, a Tibetan themed restaurant that serves Chinese & Tibetan food like thukpa, gyatuk & dim sum. It’s cozy, yet not known for its décor, live music or beautiful waitresses, instead it’s famed for delicious food & generous portions. Have breakfast once at Chopsticks and you’ll go back. For foodies, it’s pure delight, and if you’re not a foodie, beware, you may soon convert! But before you can gorge on Tibetan gyatuk, you must get to Manali Himachal Pradesh. Although Kullu-Manali airport is just 50 km from Manali, my boyfriend and I chose to go overland, from Delhi to Manali by bus – 533 km!
